The injections currently utilize 27G needle that is 1/2 of an inch long.
Needles used for insulin are typically 29G or 30G.
In contrast, needles for thicker substances, such as, Testosterone, utilize 18G or 17G needles.
The lower the number for the gauge the thicker the needle.
